I am an assistant professor at Saint Michael's College. As an applied economist, my primary research interest is applied macroeconomics with a topical focus on policy analyzing and inequality. More specifically, I want to find the effect of economic development, energy, fiscal and monetary policy on well-being of individuals considering socioeconomic and demographic factors.
Before joining Saint Michael's College, I was a visiting assistant professor at Siena College and a post-doctoral fellow in energy economics at Oklahoma City University before that. I received my PhD in Economics from Florida International University, my master's degree in Energy Economics and my bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Tehran.
